Cottage Place Outreach

The Mission Committee occasionally hosts residents and staff of Cottage Place group home from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. The purpose of this outreach ministry is to give the residents of Cottage Place a chance to socialize during a time away from their home. It is heartwarming to see how much they enjoy these evenings out and how appreciative they are of all that is done for them.
Help is needed beginning at 5:00 PM to prepare the meal for clients and their caregivers. Donations of prizes for winners of games would help, too. In addition, the group enjoys music and arts and crafts. If you have any ideas for a craft or music or could help with these any of the activities, contact Jerri DeVault (jerride@embarqmail.com, 276.666.3024) to volunteer.
Cottage Place is our neighbor on Church Street Extension, just up the hill from the Lutheran Church.
