There will be a dedication of Prayer Shawls at the 11:00 service on August 17. For those who are prayerfully knitting or who have completed a shawl, please bring your shawls to the service on that date or leave in the church office if unable to attend. If you are working on a shawl, now you have a deadline for completion!
The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets the last Wednesday of each month in the Session room and new knitters or wannabe knitters are always welcome. After shawls are dedicated by the congregation they may be picked up at the church and delivered to anyone in need, whether or not a church member. Just sign out and read the card to the recipient. We also mail shawls.
