First Baptist Church, 23 Starling Avenue

The pumpkins are here! Dates are Oct. 9–31; hours are Monday–Friday 11 AM–7 PM, Saturday 9 AM–5 PM, Sunday 1:30–5:00 PM. The patch is located on the lot behind FBC at the corner of Mulberry Road and Oakdale Street.

Our congregation has been asked to supply volunteers to man the sale on two Wednesdays. Please call Milt Davis at 634-1403 or email davistwo@comcast.net to volunteer for this fundraiser for our partner Grace Network.

October 14 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, four two-hour shifts.  We need at least two people for each shift, three people on the last two shifts.

October 28 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, two shifts. We need four people on each shift, giving each other breaks.

Story Time at the Pumpkin Patch will be presented on two Saturdays, Oct. 17, 12–2 PM by Smart Beginnings, and on Oct. 24, 11 AM–1 PM by Altrusa International. Both Story Times will have book giveaways for kids to take home. All are welcome.

The patch will again feature a picture-taking scene. For the first time this year, we will sell pumpkin-carving kits from Thrivent Financial for $4. All proceeds will benefit Grace Network’s ministries.
