2010 Summer VBS

Our High Seas Voyage has ended and the ship has docked. We sailed over 90 kids through the Mighty Word of God and they had a great time on the trip. Besides our church there were 4 other sponsoring churches – Forest Hills Presbyterian, Holy Trinity Lutheran, Christ Episcopal, and Christ’s Church. In addition to those 5 churches, there were also 17 other churches represented. What a great mission statement for our church!

Partnership with Area Churches

Dewd: One of Our Bible Buddies

Since 2003, First Presbyterian Church, Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, and Christ Episcopal Church have come together for a joint Bible School adventure. Any child from the community is welcome and we have had a number of others from the community participate with us. Each year, we have used curriculum from Group Publishing. Our church was the host for Bible School in 2004 and 2005. This year, 2010, was First Presbyterian Church's privilege to be the host, again.
