Grace Network is a first-stop center of resources for residents of Martinsville and Henry County where essential life needs and referrals are provided by caring volunteers building a stronger community.

As one of the founding congregations of this mission, First Presbyterian has supported Grace Network since its inception in April of 2006. Your food donations go to help stock the “client choice” pantry where the clients, when qualified, can receive 2 weeks of groceries to help get them through their crisis and your monetary donations go to help with those facing eviction or utility cut off because of a financial crisis they have experienced. For almost a decade, Grace Network has been there to help those in our community that have fallen on hard times and your gifts are appreciated. 

As a volunteer for Grace Network, you will be helping those in need in our community, not to mention, it’s just plain fun! There are many positions that you can fill that fits all types of comfort levels. If you are a “people person”, you might consider becoming a greeter or work in our food pantry. If you are “task driven” person, you might consider becoming an office assistant or a data entry assistant. There are many opportunities to volunteer.
